Tilt Shift Van Gogh

So these are some images I created for Artcyclopedia.com, a fine art search engine (who came up with the concept). I took several of Van Gogh’s paintings and edited them using photoshop to create a tilt shift effect. If you dont know what tilt shift is, its a kind of photography that uses a short range of focus to create photographs that look minature. Click here for some examples.
Note: this was just meant as a fun exercise, so don’t take it too seriously! We thought the results were interesting and wanted to share them.
See all of the images here.
Mymodernmet recently contacted me for a very brief interview which you can find here.

This is an incredible series Serena! What a cool idea to apply the tilt-shift technique to paintings. Chapeau!
